A Road bike sportive is great fun and a great way to have fun. The road is rarely closed therefore you still have to pay attention to traffic. It is also important to make sure that you have all of your equipment packed the day before. I found out the hard way as I didn't attach my saddle bag to my bike, and I didn't realize until halfway round therefore I had to go around the rest of the course hoping I didn't get a puncture and I had to take the medium route back. Another tip is to follow the route correctly and don't rely on other people going the right way.
I started listing all of the events out but i though it was easier to go straight to the links instead of scrolling down loads!!
