1. If you’re cycling with another person try to point to the ground when you see a pot hole so the person can try to avoid the pothole. They other person should also point to the pot hole if threes another person behind.
2. Another signal is moving your hand side to side facing downwards, this is used to show that the ground is uneven or has grit on it; this is another important signal as it can stop people behind from going over the hazard.
3. If you move your right arm up and down this indicates that the group or the individual is slowing down, this is important in case you have to stop suddenly or are approaching traffic as the other people can see if you’re slowing down.
4. Another important signal is indicating so that the traffic behind can see what way you intend to go, you indicate by sticking your left or right hand out depending which direction you indented to go.
